The Steamboat Springs Airport is on final approach in the process of completing a new Airport Master Plan, which began in 2018 and will be finalized in March 2021.

An airport master plan is an important tool in determining an airport’s current and future development needs. The most recent master plan for the Airport was written in 2008 (see below).

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recommends that the Steamboat Springs Airport - Bob Adams Field Master Plan be updated every 10 years.
