Registration for the 27th Annual Steamboat Pentathlon will officially close on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. The fast approaching deadline is your last opportunity to register to participate in this one-of-a-kind winter event that has provided an exciting day on Howelsen Hill for friends to competitive racers. Registration must be done in advance and NO Day-Off registration will be available.
Participants can register as a Team, Dynamic Duo or as an Individual, with Short and Long Course race options available. All participants receive a race t-shirt, goodie bag, free lunch, and a chance to win fantastic raffle prizes from event sponsors. The event is open to all ages and ability levels.
The Steamboat Pentathlon is hosted annually by the City of Steamboat Springs Parks & Community Services Department. This one-of-a-kind winter event features five athletic disciplines in one race, including, Alpine Skiing or Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, Nordic Skiing, Mountain Biking and Running.
