[ARCHIVED] Legacy Ranch & Williams Preserve Hay Bids Sought

The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking two separate bids for haying on the Legacy Ranch Hay Meadow located at US Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 131, and the Williams Preserve, located between River Road and US Highway 40. 

As outlined in the conservation easements held for both properties, the city manages the land to protect its open space, agricultural, and conservation values. The work consists of irrigation, cutting, and baling of approximately 85 acres of hay on each property (170 acres total) during the 2018 season.

Separate sealed bids for both the Legacy Ranch and Williams Preserve haying will be accepted by the City of Steamboat Springs, 137 10th Street, P.O. Box 775088, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, 970.879.2060, until 5:00 PM on March 6, 2018. Bids received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.
