The City of Steamboat Springs is hosting a FREE ski night for Middle School students on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Howelsen Hill Ski Area from 4pm to 7pm. Steamboat Springs, SOROCO and Hayden are home to around 750 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students.
The Ski Free evening will take place from 4pm to 7pm with skiing and snowboarding from 4pm to 6pm, followed by pizza and ice cream in Olympian Hall. During the event, students can enjoy the Poma lift and the beginner magic carpet to access terrain for all ability levels.
All students will meet at Howelsen Hill Lodge and should be picked up by 7pm that evening. Please come prepared with equipment and a helmet. Join us on this special FREE night and don’t forget to bring your friends!
Owned and operated by the City of Steamboat Springs, Howelsen Hill is Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area and has helped generations of Steamboat Springs residents enjoy the sport since 1915. The ski area features affordable skiing and snowboarding across terrain catered toward all abilities as well as 13 miles of Nordic, snowshoe and snow bike trails.
