The City of Steamboat Springs is currently seeking friendly, outgoing volunteers, to greet Howelsen Hill Nordic trail users and educate them on appropriate use of the facility. All volunteer hours count towards a FREE 2017/2018 Howelsen Hill Nordic Pass.
Volunteers work a series of one hour shifts (no more than four shifts per week) at their convenience and as their schedules allow. ADULTS are required to work a total of twelve hours and SENIORS (65 years of age and older) are required to work a total of eight hours to receive a free pass.
Nordic Ambassadors can either purchase a 2017/2018 Howelsen Hill Nordic Pass at the beginning of the season and be reimbursed for the pass upon completion of the required hours, or they can wait until completion to receive their complimentary pass.
If you are interested in becoming a Nordic Ambassador, and would like additional information regarding the program, please contact Emily Hines at 970.871.7031 or
ehines@steamboatsprings.net.
