The City of Steamboat Springs Summer A.S.S.E.T. Camps have partnered with the Colorado Division of Wildlife to offer a full Hunter Education certification class. This certification is required before applying for a Colorado hunting license.
The class will be held Monday, July 17th through Friday, July 21st, with classroom sessions in the morning and activities in the afternoon. Each afternoon, participants will join our summer camp program, visiting the Old Town Hot Springs, Stagecoach Reservoir, playing disc golf, and much more.
Friday’s class will include a live fire portion, and parents are welcome and encouraged to join. The class is designed for children 10-14 years old, but parents and older children can also sign up.
