Yampa Street between 6th to 8th Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5-10pm on Friday, June 9, during the 2017 Rocky Mountain Harley Owners Group (HOG) Bike Show, which runs from 6:30pm to 9pm.

The bike show will consist of around 50 classic Harley motorcycles divided into ten different classes. When the sun goes down, the bikes turn on their lights and offer a "lighted bike show." The public will be able to vote for their favorite bike with the People's Choice award.

Additionally, there will be bike games taking place in the Steamboat Springs High School parking lot on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday afternoon from 3pm to 5:30 pm.  All open to spectators. The group will host several guided rides over the weekend, departing from the Steamboat Springs Transit Center parking lot.

This event was previously a statewide rally; however, the 2017 Rocky Mountain HOG Rally has expanded to include surrounding states, with more than 600 riders already registered to visit Steamboat.  The group will be based out of The Steamboat Grand and attendees are expected to be throughout town from Wednesday, June 7, through Saturday, June 10.
