YAMPA STREET-Week of April 17th
Following completion of the Bank of the West frontage and around the week of April 17th, crews will move between 6th and 7th Streets on Yampa, finishing work from 2016. This section requires a closure between 6th and 7th Streets; however, all interesctions will remain open and pedestrian routes will provide for safe navigation around the closure.
YAMPA STREET - PHASE II - Late April
Phase II, which is concentrated between 9th and 12th streets including the side-streets of 11th and 12th, is scheduled to begin in late April. Additional information will be provided ahead of the start of Phase II.
OAK STREET - Week of April 10th
Construction activities at Oak & 8th Streets kick off with storm sewer installation and demo work allowing for streetscape installation. Parking closures will go into effect along both streets; however, the center of the parking lot will remain open as work allows.
Later that week, storm sewer improvements at the intersection crossing 7th Street on the north and south sides of Oak Street are anticipated to start. 7th Street will be closed for one day for each crossing with this work. Currently, closures are expected on the north side on April 13th and on the south side on April 14th. Motorists should use alternative routes such as 6th & 8th Streets and 5th & 7th Streets during this time.
Maintaining access to all businesses is a priority. Signage and wayfinding will continue to be installed during the required closures. Please respect all closures and use the designated detours and parking areas. Construction hours run from 7am-7pm Monday through Thursday; 7am-5pm on Fridays; and 8am-4pm on Saturday (if necessary).
