[ARCHIVED] Police Seek To Identify Burglary Suspect; Reward Offered

Crime Stoppers Reward

The Steamboat Springs Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 5th at the Sambi Canton restaurant located at 941 Lincoln Ave. Security video reveals a male forced entry into the business and absconded with cash. 

The suspect is described as an Asian or Hispanic male, approximately 5’ to 5’4” tall, dark brown or black hair, possible facial hair in a goatee style and wearing a black coat and blue jeans.

Routt County Crime Stoppers is offering a $300 reward for information leading to the identification of the burglary suspect.  Routt County Crime Stoppers is a partnership of the public, police, businesses, and media that provides the community with a proactive program for people to assist the police anonymously to solve crimes and, thereby, to contribute to an improved quality of life.
