[ARCHIVED] Applications Now Open For City Council District I Seat

Individuals interested in filling the District I seat on the Steamboat Springs City Council can apply starting today.  After more than three years in the role, Council member Tony Connell is stepping down after the regularly scheduled city council meeting on Tuesday, February 14th

Applications are currently being accepted to fulfill the remainder of Council member Connell’s District I seat, which expires November 7, 2017. Applications are due Tuesday, February 7, 2017 and interviews with city council are scheduled to begin at approximately 7:00pm on February 14, 2017.

Interested individuals must reside in the City of Steamboat Springs’ District I, which is comprised primarily of the downtown area from 4th Street running west.  The council application and city elections district map can be found on the city website, www.steamboatsprings.net or may be picked up at City Hall.

Completed applications must be returned to the Office of the City Clerk and can be turned in by email, jfranklin@steamboatsprings.net, by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, PO Box 775088, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477-5088 or in person at City Hall, 137 10th Street.
