Beginning Friday, July 1st, all closures related to the Yampa Street Construction project will be lifted for the 4th of July Holiday weekend and the roadway will be available for the traveling public and the parade through Monday, July 4th. The City would like to thank Duckels Construction for voluntarily offering to remove all barricades and closures for this busy weekend. Additionally Duckels Construction was able to coordinate with the planned paving of 910 Yampa Street in order to repave portions of Yampa Street six weeks earlier than originally scheduled. Connell Resources was instrumental in participating in that effort and the City would like to extend a thank you to them as well. There will be limited areas where material storage and construction staging will remain through the weekend. Those limited areas are located in the parking spaces on Yampa Street near the 10th Street intersection and at the vacant lot near the intersection of Yampa and 7th Streets. Construction activities will resume July 5th.
Have a safe and fun weekend!
