Deputy Police Chief Bob DelValle has submitted his letter of retirement to the City Manager effective August 28, 2015. DelValle, a police officer with the City of Sheridan, CO and an investigator for the 14th Judicial District of Colorado, joined the Steamboat Springs Police Department in August, 1985 as a patrol officer. DelValle rose through the ranks as Youth Narcotics Officer, Detective, Captain and Deputy Police Chief. “I want to thank Deputy Chief DelValle for thirty years of dedicated service to this community both in the Police Department and as a leader with Civil Air Patrol,” said City Manager, Deb Hinsvark.
