Current work for this week include installing at these locations (Walton Creek Intersections) signal upgrades and shouldering from Hampton inn to Walton creek road. Also drilling of traffic signal poles will take place at pine grove road.
During construction work will be near or around existing sidewalks but the sidewalks are still OPEN. Also please continue to use both lanes to the merge point and then politely merge over.
Below are the more specific work zones that can be expected and side streets impacted at these intersections.
• Shoulder Closures between Hampton Inn and Walton Creek Road for Shouldering
• SPECIAL NOTICE: ALL PAVING HAS BEEN COMPLETED
• There is a 14’ Wide Load Restriction during paving. Please call 970-629-9393 to coordinate.
• HALLOWEEN STROLL WILL NOT BE IMPACTED BY CONSTRUCTION.
• Most of the major roadway impacts and delays are over. Thanks for the patience and understanding.
During the project, motorists can expect various alternating single-lane, multiple lane shifts or closures, NO WORK will be performed from 13th to 3rd street. Monday through Friday, with some weekend work possible, from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Delays are expected to be about 15-25 minutes from one end to the other. And 7 PM to 7 AM during the night closures.
