STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-January 10, 2023-Scheduled Information Technology Maintenance will send some digital services offline for a few hours on Friday, January 13, as the city performs work on its computing infrastructure specifically IP and storage networking.
“We’ve been planning the work for some time and the process should only take a few hours to complete,” said Information Technology Manager Kent Immenschuh for the City of Steamboat Springs. “However, during this time some online programs such as CityView and GIS mapping will not be available.”
The maintenance project is scheduled from 1pm to 5pm this Friday and requires shutting down several servers and ancillary components. If the work runs longer, the city will message the estimated extension duration. Otherwise, the public should anticipate services return as scheduled.
While the maintenance work is underway on Friday, the CityView Public Portal will be unavailable, and the city appreciates your patience and understanding.
With this in mind, the Routt County Building Department plans to perform all city inspections between the hours of 7AM and 12 on January 13. Unfortunately, afternoon inspections on Friday will not be available.
Building Department staff will process all new Building Department Permit Applications and Reviews during the morning hours on Friday.
The City and County will be closed on Monday January 16 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day and will not be able to perform inspections again until after the holiday on Tuesday.
