STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-June 20, 2022-Two community events bring a colorful spectrum of fun and festival to the Yampa Valley as the city sees the Red, White & Brews in the Boat and Pride Festivals take place over the weekend. Both events will have street closures.
Yampa Valley Pride Festival
Pride celebrates the LGBTQIA2S+ community on Saturday, June 25 (rain or shine) with the 2nd Annual Pride Festival – Lives, Love & Legacy. Over 20 booths featuring LGBTQIA2S+ vendors and local nonprofits and organizations that support LGBTQIA2S+ individuals will be on hand as well as special events including a roller sk8ing rink, music, drag performances, photo booth, resources, community & MORE!
6th Street between Lincoln Avenue and Oak Street will be closed to through traffic for a roller-skating rink from 6am to 10pm. As part of the event, approximately 200 people will be in attendance. Parking around the event may be limited during this time and amplified music may be heard. The festival is open to all.
Red, White & Brews in the Boat
Not only will some of the best craft brews and international wines be landing in Steamboat Springs this Saturday, but so will the 5th Annual Reds, Whites & Brews in the Boat Festival taking place on the west end of Yampa Street for the second consecutive year.
Reds, Whites & Brews in the Boat is a beer and wine tasting event that brings together the craft brews and a variety of international wines from 17 different breweries and wineries along with live music, local & regional food vendors and more.
Reds, Whites & Brews has evolved into a ‘don’t miss event’ of the summer and returns to the Yampa Valley this Saturday, June 25 from noon to 5pm. As part of the event, Yampa Street between 12th and 10th will be closed along with the portions of 11th & 12th Streets. These roadways will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 6am on Saturday until a few hours after the event concludes later that evening.
