9:15AM - SSFR has cleared the scene and YVEA remains on site working on the electricity for the effected residences.

8:00AM - SSFR and YVEA have secured the downed tree and removed it from the powerline. Residents are okay to return to their homes in Dream Island. Crews continue to work to restore power which is expected to be back within the hour. SSFR evacuated approximately 15 trailers and shut off electricity to 70-100 residences during the incident. 

7:30AM - SSFR anticipates power could be restored in approximately one hour.  

7:00AM - Yampa Valley Electric Association is on site and working on resolving the downed powerline. Integrated Communities showed up in short time, before the sunrise, to provide translation services and lend any other support in the incident.   Power remains out at the Dream Island complex as Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue, Steamboat Springs Police Dept, YVEA, Routt County Emergency Management, Integrated Communities and other agencies respond to the incident. 

6:15 AM -  A tree has come down on a powerline and power is out to Dream Island.  A shelter is being established at the Community Center for Dream Island residents. SSFR is working with agencies to restore power but could be several hours or longer.
