UPDATE: 8:00PM - Crews are currently digging the main break, but because of the location of the water main both lanes on Saratoga between Gilpin and Pitkin will be closed for the duration of the repair.
6:00 PM -- The city is responding to a watermain break near 1255 Saratoga Avenue in the Fairview neighborhood this evening. Emergency locates are underway and crews will begin repairs. It is estimated that 12 homes on Saratoga Ave between Gilpin & Pitkin will be without water service until work is complete. One lane of Saratoga Avenue will be closed with the possibility of full closure of Saratoga as crews address the issue.
