[ARCHIVED] Homecoming Parade Spirits Its Way Through Downtown

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-September 21, 2021-The Sailors will have their school pride on full display this Thursday, September 23, when the homecoming parade rolls through downtown Steamboat Springs. 

The Steamboat Springs High School homecoming parade is scheduled to start around 1:40pm on 2nd Street before making its way to Lincoln Avenue via 4th Street. The procession will head down Lincoln from 4th Street to 8th Street, then onto Pine Street and back to the high school. 

Steamboat Springs Police patrol vehicles will lead the procession which includes the high school band, cheering squad and floats from each class.  While well outside the prime commute period, motorists should anticipate encountering slight delays as the parade makes its way around downtown.

Wear your red, black, and white to show your Sailor Spirit and cheer on each class Thursday afternoon along the parade route. The following evening, the Steamboat Sailors Varsity Football game against Aspen kicks off at 7:00pm on Friday, September 24.
