[ARCHIVED] City Attorney Updates Council on WSN

WSN NewsFlash 2

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-December 9, 2019-As the last item on tomorrow evening’s work session agenda, the city would like the community to understand that the only discussion on West Steamboat Neighborhoods will be from City Attorney Dan Foote, who will provide a brief update to City Council.

“The city has not received a specific proposal from WSN on moving forward,” said Foote. “Until that time, it is the city’s recommendation to not schedule further discussion until a concrete proposal is submitted and reviewed.”

Typically, items are due the Thursday prior to the scheduled meeting to be included into the agenda packet. Currently, the city has not received materials from WSN so the agenda time will be reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes and consist of simply the City Attorney update.

Once materials are submitted by WSN and after staff has had enough time to review and offer a recommendation, Council will schedule the topic for a future agenda. When this item returns for future discussion, the public will be provided ample notification. Council agendas can be found at steamboatsprings.net/agendas.

The December 10 work session starts with an Executive Session on the Alpine Slide Agreement; followed by dialogue on the Vacation Unit Committee Recommendations, Fire/EMS – 2020 Budget Options, and finally the City Attorney Update on WSN.
