[ARCHIVED] Police Investigating Unwanted Touching Incident

The Steamboat Springs Police Department is continuing to investigate reports of unwanted touching at the Old Town Hot Springs on the evening of March 23, 2019.OTHS Sex Assault

During this event, several adult and teenaged women reported being inappropriately touched by an unknown male while in the pools. The Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the individual pictured in the photograph.

The Old Town Hot Springs is working in conjunction with SSPD detectives to ensure this isolated incident is investigated. If you are involved in a situation like this or see something you believe is inappropriate taking place, please report it to the front desk or contact SSPD. 

People who can identify or know the location of the suspect are advised to call 911 and report to law enforcement.

Anyone with additional information regarding this case or any other crime is encouraged to contact the Steamboat Springs Police Department at 970.879.1144.

All charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
