WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 AM MST THURSDAY

  • WHAT...Snow expected. 6 to 8 inches in Steamboat Springs. 6 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts in the Elkhead and Park Mountains and Flat Tops.
  • WHERE...Elkhead and Park Mountains, Upper Yampa River Basin and Flat Tops.
  • WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 11 AM MST Thursday.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be difficult, especially over Rabbit Ears Pass. Expect snowy and slick driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
