Winter Parking Restrictions - November 1 - April 30
Parking is compounded by winter snow, which accumulates fast in a mountain town like Steamboat Springs with each storm. In order to expedite snow removal efforts, winter parking is prohibited on city streets and shoulders during the following hours:
Location Restricted Hours
Lincoln Avenue .................................................................... 3:00 am - 6:00 am
Ski Time Square ................................................................. 3:00 am - 6:00 am
Anglers Drive area & south to city limits: ............................ Midnight - 8:00 am
All Other Areas: ................................................................... 2:00 am - 8:00 am
Your vehicle may be TICKETED if left on city streets within the restricted hours or TOWED during snowplow operations within the restricted hours. Additional information on parking available here.
All other parking areas are marked with time restrictions or parking regulations. There is no parking in any alley that is not being used as a delivery service or that would impede through traffic.
Parking enforcement is a serious concern in a city with limited parking availability and a tremendous number of visitors.
