[ARCHIVED] No Luck Involved For Free Coffee or Civic Engagement

Coffee with Council March NewsFlash

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-March 16, 2026-St. Patrick’s Day may be on the horizon, but when it comes to shaping your community, luck has nothing to do with it. What matters is showing up — and the next chance to do that is Friday, March 20, at Coffee with Council, from 8 to 9am in the Paachihpi Community Room at City Hall (115 10th Street).

This monthly meetup is all about real conversation, no frills. No presentations. No script. Just a fresh pot of coffee and a chance to talk directly with available City Councilors about whatever’s on your mind.

For more than a decade, Coffee with Council has thrived on open, honest dialogue. It’s a space where residents and councilors can exchange ideas, disagree respectfully, and dig into the issues that matter — all in a relaxed, come‑as‑you‑are setting.

Coffee with Council continues on the third Friday of each month through May, before shifting to the city’s summer engagement efforts at Mainstreet Steamboat’s Farmers Market in early June.

So, bring your thoughts, your questions, your ideas — no lucky charms required. Just your voice and a good old-fashioned cup of coffee. And you just might find your conversational pot of gold in the process too!
