Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of exciting summer activities and trips for anyone 55 years and finer. Activity fees include transportation, admission fees, tickets, and hotel when necessary. Meals are not included in the activity fee and are the responsibility of the participant. Participation is limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opened at 8:00 AM on Monday, May 3.

Georgetown Train Ride
All aboard the Georgetown Loop Railroad! Enjoy amazing views of the mountains and experience the feeling of stepping back into another time, where the railroad ruled, and mining was a way of life.

Denver Zoo & Grandchild Day
Enjoy a day in Denver exploring the many interesting exhibits at the Denver Zoo with one of your grandchildren. You and one grandchild will take in all the sights and visit the many marvelous animals that call the Denver Zoo home.

Lake Dillon Historical Tour
Enjoy beautiful mountain views and learn interesting facts about the Town of Dillon and the Dillon Reservoir during a 1.5 hour pontoon boat tour of Lake Dillon

Colorado Rockies Baseball
Enjoy a fun day at Coors Field as the Colorado Rockies take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch is at 1:10 PM, and we'll arrive early enough to watch the teams warm up and to grab lunch.

Blackhawk/Central City Casinos Day Trip
Are you feeling lucky? Enjoy a day trip to the Blackhawk and Central City casinos. Star the day at the Lodge Casino, then take the free city bus to any casinos in Blackhawk or Central City. Enjoy an afternoon of gambling, eat a leisurely lunch at one of the many local restaurants, and explore the are with friends.
