The citizens of Steamboat Springs are invited to apply to serve on the following city boards, commissions and committees: No current openings
Golf Management Committee
Three Regular terms will be open this fall. Members of this Committee receive a Haymaker Golf pass and a Family Howelsen Hill Ski Pass.
Applications must be submitted by October 9, 2022. Interviews tentatively scheduled for October 18
Four regular positions are open to replace commissioners stepping down. Members of this Commission receive a Family Howelsen Hill Ski Pass and a Haymaker Golf pass.
Applications must be submitted by 5:30pm on September 1. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for September 20.
Urban Redevelopment Authority Advisory Committee
URAAC specific application here. Applications are due by 5:30pm Wednesday, September 7.
- Development Community Representative: An owner/developer of property within the URA Base Area with imminent (re)development potential or an agent of such an owner/developer. One (1) open seat.
- Community Member At-Large: A full time resident of Steamboat Springs, preferably with professional expertise and/or technical interest in the URA Base Area. Two (2) open seats.
Upcoming projects include the redevelopment of Ski Time Square Drive, a public-private partnership to update the Gondola Transit Center, installing sidewalks and complete streets improvements on roads leading to the base area and extending the base area promenade North and South beyond its current extent.
The city relies upon the dedicated volunteer efforts of numerous members of our boards and commissions to gather information and make recommendations regarding specific city activities.
