The Yampa Valley Pet Calendar is back! You heard that correctly, the Routt County Humane Society will be bringing back the Yampa Valley Pet Calendar for 2022. As we move towards 2022, we still need help to raise money for shelter animals. At Routt County Humane Society, we are committed to advocating for all animals and the people who love them. We continue to make sure our most vulnerable community members can care for their pets by providing veterinary care, food and other resources for free or at a significantly reduced cost to low-income individuals and families throughout Northwest Colorado. The calendar is a great way for friends and supporters of RCHS to show off their current fur babies, or to memorialize a fur friend who has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Jennifer Nuzzo is a Senior Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering and the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Senior Fellow for Global Health at the Council on Foreign Relations. An epidemiologist by training, her work focuses on global health security, with a focus on pandemic preparedness, outbreak detection and response, health systems as they relate to global health security, biosurveillance, and infectious disease diagnostics.
