Each month Mountain Tap Brewery selects four local nonprofit organizations to support. On Token Tuesday, each guest receives a wooden token for every craft beer they purchase. Before leaving Mountain Tap Brewery, they can select which of the four organizations they want to support by depositing their token in that organization’s Token Tuesday box. At the end of the month, Mountain Tap Brewery empties the boxes, adds up the tokens for each organization and presents each one with $1 for every token they received.

Grant Funded Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic - The Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) Wellness Clinic will hosts its weekly spay/neuter clinic every Thursday throughout 2021 at 2645 Jacob Circle. Please call ahead of time to schedule your appointment. Discounted Services will be provided to income-qualified patrons. Verification of annual income of under $40,000 is required at the time of service. Low-cost spay/neuter services available to all.

At this year’s Routt County Wildfire Mitigation Virtual Conference, Yampa Valley Sustainability Council will have local and regional experts present on steps that we all can take – from the individual homeowner to our community stakeholders – to mitigate risks and be prepared in the face of a wildfire. This community event is open to the public and will take place on Thursdays, 5 - 6:15 p.m., starting on April 29 - May 20. Learn more and register at routtwildfire.org. This conference is organized by the Routt County Wildfire Mitigation Council in an effort to promote public awareness and understanding of wildfire risk to foster community-driven action to reduce risk and the impacts of wildfire in Routt County.
