The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) for design services from qualified firms for design work to add a second sheet of ice adjacent to the existing Howelsen Ice Arena facility. The project had been mostly previously designed but fell short of construction due to funding issues.  The jobsite has seen some modifications and additions since the original plans were completed.  The RFP is requesting that a consultant work from the original design and make edits to meet the current needs and delete the areas/elements of the project that were built during the 2021 Howelsen Ice Arena Expansion Project. This design will also cover the civil design work needed to address impacts to the existing Parks and Recreation building that shares the same property.  The project design should meet the following objectives:
