The City of Steamboat Springs (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to complete a comprehensive and in-depth update of the 2010 City of Steamboat Springs Water & Sewer Standard Specifications. The project will include a complete update to the overall document layout, format, and style and will address all sections within the existing document and will require the development of a significant amount of new content and sections. The project will also include updates to existing and development of new standard details, CAD standards, standard utility plan notes, checklists, and process documents for the evaluation, design, construction, and inspection of water and sewer infrastructure. As the Water & Sewer Standard Specifications correspond to Chapter 25 of the City’s Municipal Code, the project will also require updates to sections of Chapter 25 of the Municipal Code to ensure consistency between the code and the standards.
