The citizens of Steamboat Springs are invited to apply to serve on the following city committee:
Board of Adjustment: Reviews zoning variance requests for residential and signage applications. (One Regular 3 year position) (One Alternate 3 year position). Members of this board receive a Howelsen Hill Ski pass. One meeting per month as required.
Planning Commission: Reviews applications for new development throughout the City, as well as policy and code amendments for recommendation to City Council. (Two Regular 3 year positions) (One Alternate 3 year position) Members of this commission receive a Howelsen Hill Ski pass and a Haymaker Golf Pass. Two evening public hearings and three noon work sessions per month.
Golf Management Committee: (Three Regular 3 year positions) Members of this committee will receive golf benefits.
Parks & Recreation Commission: (Two Regular 2 year positions) Members of this commission will receive a Howelsen Hill Ski Pass.
Yampa Valley Housing Authority: (Two Regular 3 year positions) - The County and the City are seeking five representatives of Routt County (which will be appointed jointly by the Steamboat Springs City Council and the Routt County Board of Commissioners) to serve on this Board.
Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
