STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-September 25, 2020-The season just grew a bit longer for Mainstreet Steamboat’s Farmers Market which will run for two additional weeks and possibly longer depending upon conditions.
“With beautiful fall weather upon us and 7th Street improvements starting to bloom, we wanted to continue the Farmers Market for little bit longer,” commented Mainstreet Steamboat’s Lisa Larkin. “Once we get past the first weekend of October, we’ll see how long we might be able to continue.”
The Farmers Market which traditionally ends mid-September will carry on for two additional weeks on Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, October 3, 2020. The market will run from 10am to 1pm and feature grocery items only. If conditions permit and vendor products remain available, the market will be on a week to week basis in October.
Grocery items such as meat and fish, cheese, chicken, eggs, bakery and specialty food including salsa, honey and produce and plants are anticipated to be supplied by participating vendors.
Information on the Steamboat Springs Farmers Market can be found on Mainstreet Steamboat web site at mainstreetsteamboat.com/farmers-market.
All public health protocols will continue and require all individuals to wear a mask, practice social distancing and follow traffic flow patterns.
