“Through this forum, we hope to provide some of the answers to the more pressing questions our community has on a more constant basis,” commented Steamboat Springs City Council President Jason Lacy. “
The town hall series will center around topics as they relate to COVID-19 and sharing current information that the community needs. The panels are not open to the public, but instead are carried on Comcast TV6, livestreamed on the city’s website and YouTube Channel. The session will be available through these digital channels should folks miss the live airing.
“We believe there is a need to get this valuable information to our community,” said Routt County Commission Chair Tim Corrigan. “We’re all in this together and by sharing as much information as possible, we’ll all be in a better place to make decisions moving forward.”
While there are certainly more questions than the group will have time for, the city is accepting questions from the public at covid@steamboatsprings.net. Prior to each session, the city will assemble questions for the panelists.
