Jason Lacy - At-Large
Jason Lacy was first elected to Council for the District II, four-year seat in 2015 before filling his current two-year At-Large seat. He currently serves as president and has held that position since 2017. Prior to council, he has served on the Planning Commission (2009-2015), and the Steamboat Springs Survey Committee
Lacy began his career as a CPA at Williams, Williams & Lentz, LLP before moving to Ross, Sinclaire & Associates, both in Kentucky. Following law school, Lacy worked for Denton & Keuler, LLP focusing on estate planning, probate, trusts, real estate, municipal and government affairs, land use and zoning, construction law and business litigation. Lacy moved to Steamboat Springs in 2007 to continue working with Feldmann Nagel, LLC. In 2012, he became a partner with Steamboat Lawyers Group, PLLC, where he continues to work in the above practices areas.
Jason is active in his community volunteering for numerous non-profit organizations. His past positions include former President, Vice-President, Treasurer of Routt County United Way, Treasurer of the Yampa Valley Autism Program and STARS.
In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Dervla, and their two sons, Declan and Ronan, and taking in all of the wonderful outdoor activities available in northwest Colorado.
