Howelsen Hill Ski Area
Howelsen Hill is a City owned ski hill in downtown Steamboat Springs. Enjoy reasonably priced lift tickets, night skiing, cross-country trails, and tubing - in the summer there are many miles of hiking and biking trails, great views and the alpine slide.

Howelsen Rodeo
Rodeo performances are held on Fridays and Saturdays at the Brent Romick Rodeo Arena located at historic Howelsen Hill. See barrel racing, team roping, calf scramble, bull riding and more. Performances begin at 7:30pm (6:30pm on July 4th - 6th), and run approximately 2 hours. BBQ and entertainment begin at 6pm.

Open Space & Trails
The Open Space program is responsible for maintenance and management of over 2,500 acres of undeveloped and agricultural land ranging in size from less than 10 acres to the 880 acre Spring Creek Mountain Preserve.

Haymaker Golf Course
This 233 acre, city-owned public golf course features at least four sets of tees per hole, playing from 5,059 to 7,308 yards. It has been described as a core golf course built for golfers.

Tennis Center
The Steamboat Springs Tennis Center is a public tennis center with 10 outdoor clay and hard courts, and six cushioned indoor hard courts for a year round tennis experience.
