Birthday Party Packages

Howelsen Ice Arena offers birthday party packages during our public skate & bumper car sessions.  We allow one birthday party per session.  The package includes a locker room for cake and/or presents, skating admission, and skate rentals for a designated number of attendees.  We offer party packages ranging in two sizes, based on attendee capacity:

• Small: up to 10 children and 2 adults - $100
• Large: up to 20 children and 4 adults - $200

The large party is the maximum birthday party capacity- we cannot accommodate parties any larger than that during our bumper car/public skate sessions.  If you would like to plan a party with a higher capacity, please contact us for private ice bookings (970-871-7033).

If you are interested in booking a birthday party with us, please follow the following steps:

1. Click the Reservations button below to check for availability.  Please note that we do not offer birthday parties during every public skate/bumper car session.
2. If you wish to have bumper cars at your party, we highly recommend checking on their availability first and reserving them right after booking your birthday party session, as we have limited availability and they do tend to sell out.  If you are booking bumper cars, we suggest picking the first or last session time to maximize ice time.
3. Upon arrival to the ice arena, please check in at the front desk, where a staff member will give you wrist bands for your allotted attendees.  Each attendee must be wearing a wrist band to pick up skate rentals.  Anyone not wearing a wrist band will be charged at the normal public skate rate.
