SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!
Kris Kringle will be stopping into the Yampa Valley againand is asking to use the Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue’s Big Red Sleigh to share the holiday spirit and joy of the season.
“The North Pole called the fire station and wanted to see if we would be good firefighters by helping Santa get around the valley,” chimed Fire Chief Chuck Cerasoli. “We didn’t hesitate to offer up our big red sleigh so his reindeer could rest for the big day.”
Santa's Big Red Sleigh Tour
Over the four days leading up to Christmas, Santa & Mrs. Claus will visit four different neighborhood areas atop a bright red fire truck each evening. The parade is anticipated to start around 4:30pm and last approximately 60 to 90 minutes while traveling through the four neighborhoods. SSFR will do its best to get to everyone, but please understand that routes may change at the discretion of the driver and that day’s weather. The tentative schedule may change due to weather, road conditions and staff availability.
