City Parks/Streets & Alcohol

Several city parks allow for the possession and consumption of alcohol between the hours of 8am and 11pm per the Municipal Code, section 10-201 (d).  In addition, an emergency ordinance was passed which permits the consumption of alcoholic beverages in certain public rights of way downtown. Consumption of alcohol beverages from glass containers is prohibited and allowed between the hours of 10am to 10pm.

City Council amended the code in an effort to provide outdoor space to enjoy take-away dinner from a restaurant and small gatherings as permitted by public health orders.

Please drink responsibly and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
