Historic Places Bike Tour Saturday, May 24th

Get your exercise while learning some history of Steamboat Springs. Join the City of Steamboat Springs Staff and the Historic Preservation Advisory Commission for a Bike Tour on Saturday, May 24th 2008 to celebrate May as Historic Preservation Month. The tour will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Howelsen Hill, 845 Howelsen Parkway in Steamboat Springs.

Participants will make several stops and hear from presenters about the Howelsen Hill Tow House, Depot, Butterfly Building, Rehder Building, Haymeadow Ranch, Mesa Schoolhouse, and other historic properties in Steamboat Springs. The tour is expected to last about two hours and refreshments will be served. Call 871-8215 for more information. Helmets are required.
