It’s time to maintain our fire hydrants

During the spring and early summer each year the City Utilities Department operates valves and flushes fire hydrants to help ensure that they are in working order. These flushing activities may cause a slight discoloration of the water coming out of your tap. If this occurs, please run the water for a couple of minutes and the water should begin to run clear again. If the water does not clear up, please call (970) 871-6303.
