Connect with Council
The city faces significant questions each year on a variety of topics. Your input, especially early in the process, is vital in shaping the future. Council urges you to make your thoughts known on what matters most to you and our direction forward. 

Find agendas for City Council meetings as well as comprehensive packet materials. In addition, audio recording of Council sessions are typically posted 48-hours after the meeting. 

Send an email or comment form to the entire city council, city manager, city attorney and city clerk. 

PUBLIC COMMENT - Regular Meetings
    • Public Comment for items not on the agenda-typically occurs around 7 PM.
    • When recognized by president during Public Comment
      • Come to podium
      • Identify yourself by name & address
      • All comments should not exceed 3 minutes

  • Coffee with Council - 2nd Friday of month
  • Farmer’s Market – Saturday (June-Sept)

  • Every Wednesday after regular Council meetings find a Council Recap of the night's meeting.

CITY 101
Ever wondered what it’s like to pilot a snow plow or SST bus?  Plan for future growth? Or go into a smoke filled building completely in the dark?  

This annual program offers in-depth insights into city operations, straight from the individuals responsible for them day-in and day-out.
The annual academy is designed to enhance the community’s knowledge about local law enforcement, their duties and responsibilities as well as its public safety programs and services.

The 10-week interactive curriculum covers topics associated with the police department and general law enforcement.
