SENIOR PROGRAMS
The City of Steamboat Springs Parks & Community Services Department offers a variety of exciting trips and activities for anyone 55 years of age and finer. 

2016 SENIOR PROGRAMS

NATIONAL CENTER FOR ATMOSPHERIC RESEARCH - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1ST
Participants will travel to the National Center for Atmospheric Research just outside Boulder. You will spend the morning exploring this exciting facility before enjoying lunch at the on-site cafeteria (cash only or you can bring your own lunch). At 1:00 PM participants will enjoy a guided tour of the facility before departing. 

COST: $20.00 - Fee includes transportation only. Admission is FREE.

BUTTERFLIES & BEER - FRIDAY, JUNE 10TH
Participants will visit the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster and spend the morning exploring the beautiful exhibits and gardens. Next, it's off to the Coors Brewery in Golden for a tour of the facility and a free beer. 

COST: $30.00 -
Fee includes transportation and admission

COLORADO ROCKIES BASEBALL GAME - SUNDAY, JULY 24TH

Participants will enjoy a day at Coors Field watching the Colorado Rockies take on the Atlanta Braves. The game starts at 2:10 PM, but participants will arrive early to watch batting practice and enjoy lunch.

COST: $30.00
- Fee includes transportation and game ticket

COLORADO ROCKIES BASEBALL GAME - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31ST 
Participants will enjoy a day at Coors Field watching the Colorado Rockies take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. The game starts at 1:10 PM, but participants will arrive early to watch batting practice and enjoy lunch.

COST: $30.00
- Fee includes transportation and game ticket

BLACK HAWK/CENTRAL CITY CASINOS - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH 
Are you feeling lucky? Participants on this trip will be dropped off/picked up at The Lodge Casino. Take the FREE bus to easily visit the other casinos in the area. 

COST: $20.00 - Fee includes transportation only

ALL SENIOR TRIPS DEPART FROM THE HOWELSEN ICE ARENA PARKING LOT

Please note that all of the trips require a significant amount of standing/walking. Please make sure you are in good health as chaperones will not be available to assist you. A van will be used for all trips and cannot accommodate a wheelchair.
