The Airport Fixed Base Operations Division, located 3 miles northwest of the City, is responsible for providing services to the transient customers and local aircraft owners of the Steamboat Springs Airport.

The FBO provides services associated with fuel purchasing, pilot supplies, aircraft preheating, de-icing and support operations. The Airport staff assists customers in aircraft parking and securing aircraft by anchoring at tie-down positions.

The FBO facility has satellite weather systems for flight planning purposes and pilot briefings.
The AWOS weather system provides automated 24x7 local aviation weather via telephone at 970-879-7794 and via Aviation Radio on frequency 118.325.
There is a second AWOS located atop Mt. Werner Ski Area. It is available via telephone at 970-871-5640 & 970-871-5641 and via Aviation Radio on frequency 127.125
