Teens on Tour

Programs will travel out of Steamboat Springs to experience a variety of recreation opportunities in the region. On past TOT trips we have visited Colorado Mills Mall, Flatiron Crossing Mall, Rock'n & Jam'n indoor Climbing Facilities, Dave'Busters, Fat City, Laser Quest laser tag, Boondocks Fun Center, American Paintball Coliseum, Downtown Aquarium, Museum of Nature & Science, & much more.

To register for a Teens on Tour (TOT) Program, please complete a Teens Program Registration form (see below) and call the Parks, Open Space & Recreation office at 879-4300 for availability. Space is limited to 24 participants ( 12 male/12 female) *Scholarships are available.

Denver Nature & Science Museum, Sea Monsters Imax, Boondocks Fun Center including laser tag, bumper karts, arcade games, mini golf, shoppng at FlatIron Crossing Mall, Swimming & more.
Fee $100.

Teen After School Club

Teen After School Club (TASC) provides weekly after school programming for 6th, 7th and 8th graders on Thursdays, from 3:15-5:30 pm. TASC offers fun activities such as swimming, bowling, rock climbing, pottery, guitar hero, arts & crafts, movies and more. Students must submit a Teen Program registration form (good for the 09/10 school year) to Parks & Rec. Students can sign up weekly by Wednesday at 3:30PM in the Steamboat Springs Middle School administration office. Free.

Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS)

In collaboration with the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS), Teen Programs offer the Learn to Ride and University programs for Routt County youth. SOS is a non-profit organization that serves youth through the sport of snowboarding, adult mentoring, and civic engagement. The program uses snowboarding as a tool to convey the five core values of the curriculum; Courage, Discipline, Integrity, Wisdom and Compassion. The Teen Program is responsible for recruiting participants and adult volunteers, and coordinating all paperwork necessary. For more information contact Pete Kraska.
