Town Challenge Race Series

The Steamboat Town Challenge is a seven race mountain bike series held every summer. Both hill-climb and cross-country events are included.

Registration will be accepted at the Parks, Open Space & Recreational Services office Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, except for race days. Registration will be accepted on race day at the race-site only. Volunteers still needed before 1st Race! Race Questions? Call Gretchen at 819-1564, or Kate Warnke at 879-4300 X 354.

Adult Division Pre-registered - $15 or Race day - $25

For safety reasons during the 4th of July weekend, all Howelsen Hill trail access between Blackmere Dr. and Howelsen Hill Stables will be closed on Friday, July 3 from 6:00pm until 11:00pm and again Saturday, July 4 from 8:00am until 11:00pm, including any non-alpine slide traffic from the top of Howelsen Hill chair lift area. Blackmere Dr. will only be closed on Saturday, July 4 from 6:00pm until 11:00pm.

Please stay off these trails to help local fireworks crews, fire department and security personnel keep everyone safe.

We will start setting up the course for Race 3 on Sunday morning, July 5th. (Due to Howelsen Hill being closed during the 4th of July Holiday). Course description & map will be posted Monday morning, July 6th.

Volunteers Needed !
