The Parks Department strives to develop a professional, respectable and dependable Parks organization that ensures that all parks and park facilities receive the maintenance required to leave a positive impression on all who use them.

With over 1,000 acres of park land throughout Steamboat Springs, our parks have something to offer everyone. Reservations are available for Howelsen Park facilities; including ball fields, rodeo arena, and the beach/volleyball area, and the Ski Town Sports Complex.
