Yampa River Botanical Park

The Botanic Park is a great place to take a break, and admission to the park is free to the public! Benches, walkways and a grassy knoll are available for picnicking, bird watching or just relaxing. The gardens attract a wide variety of native birds and butterflies. Check at the Park kiosk for upcoming events.

Hours of Operation:
The Park is open dawn to dusk from Spring until the first heavy snow. It is available for weddings and special events. Call (970) 879-4300 for special use or email us!

How to Find Us:
By automobile: We are located between Downtown and the Mountain off of US Hwy 40. At the Sinclair Station traffic light, turn west onto Trafalgar Lane. Turn left onto Pamela Lane, drive to the far end into the parking lot, and park at the far left corner, near the "Yampa River Botanic Park" sign. Walk down the lane.

On foot or bike: There is a gate into the Park on the Yampa River Core Trail between Emerald Park soccer fields and Fish Creek Mobile Home Park.
