Information Systems

The Information Systems Department serves all other City departments through many services that includes a series of integrated computer systems, coordinating and providing training, negotiating and managing information technology related contracts, and providing technology assistance and support. The department creates and maintains the technological environment that enables City employees to quickly access vital information using efficient and cost effective hardware and software. The department also provides technical leadership as an active partner in many of our local non-profit organizations and has recently added the broadcasting of T.V. Channel 6 (or PEG6).

It is the mission of the Information Systems Department to assist all City departments in anticipating and responding to the needs of the citizens by enabling City employees to quickly access vital information.
