The Office of the Deputy City Manager and the Internal Services Division of Procurement and Contracts administers all building construction for the City of Steamboat Springs. This includes procurement and contracting of all professional and construction services for City facilities. Procurement, contracting, and administration is provided per City, State, and Federal requirements based on local and/or grant funding regulations.

The Facilities Management Division of Internal Services manages the operations, maintenance, improvement, design, and construction of the City’s buildings and building systems. This Division is responsible for implementation of the City’s Sustainability Management Plan which involves identifying and implementing the most efficient, economical and sustainable methods for construction and operation of buildings and energy systems. This Division is also responsible for operation, maintenance and improvement of the City’s Workforce Housing facility.
