The Intergovernmental Services Division (IGS) is composed of professional and administrative staff working to support the vision, goals, and objectives of the City of Steamboat Springs. The IGS Division provides the following services to the City and the community:
- Liaison Services between the City and other agencies, including the State Legislature, State and Federal Agencies, and public and private sectors in the community
- Project management for regional and community based partnerships and projects focusing on City Council priorites, including open space, transportation, and telecommunications
- Grant research, identification and procurement for City departments, as well as for intergovernmental agencies, regional coalitions and community non-profit organizations for public and private sector projects in the community
