Council Meeting Archive

The Steamboat Springs City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 5 PM (unless otherwise noted) in Citizens' Hall, 124 10th Street. Special meetings are occasionally held as needed, on no set schedule.

Agendas and other items that City Council is expected to discuss are posted on this page by the Friday before each Council meeting. Items are downloadable for your convenience. Meeting minutes and video are also posted; to watch meetings live, click on the "LIVE Video" link beside the meeting in the current meeting window. Previously aired meetings will show as "Video" in search results. To view video, disable pop-up blocking software. If pop-ups are not temporarily disabled, viewers may need to set their software to accept downloads.

During each City Council meeting the City Clerk's staff records the meeting and takes detailed notes regarding the proceedings surrounding each agenda item. These notes are reviewed and adopted into record in subsequent meetings.

Speaking at Council meetings and public hearings

Public comment on items NOT on the agenda will be accommodated at 7:00pm, or at the end of the meeting which ever comes first. Public comment on items on the agenda will be accommodated at the time the item comes up on the agenda.

Televised commission meetings

City Council meetings are televised through the local cable channel broadcasted live and on a taped-delay schedule of Thursday nights at 5pm and Saturday morning at 8am on the following channel:

- Comcast, Channel 6.

All of these broadcasts are subject change.

Copies of meeting audio, minutes or video

The Steamboat Springs City Clerks Office keeps the official minutes and audio recordings of Council meetings and public hearings.
